Our Lost and Found Bin is overflowing.  If your student(s) has lost a jacket, sweater, sweatshirt, scarf, lunchbox, etc., please check our Lost and Found bin for the missing item.  All unclaimed items will be donated by Spring Break.

Students who reside within district boundaries may apply for enrollment in any school in the district.  Applications for Intradistrict Transfer will be accepted during the period of January 8, 2018 through March 1, 2018 for the next school year, or for students entering the district after March 1st, within 5 days of enrollment.  If you wish to return to the school from which you were displaced, or if you wish to attend another school for any reason, you must submit an Intradistrict Transfer request.

Applicants who submit an Intradistrict Transfer request no later than 4:00 p.m., March 1, 2018 will be notified on April 1, 2018.  Forms are available at all school sites and at the District Office beginning on January 8, 2018.  Intradistrict Transfer Forms MUST be returned to any school office, or the District Office, no later than 4:00 p.m., March 1, 2018 to be considered by the April 1st notification date.

Intradistrict Transfer requests on behalf of students who have been displaced from the closed schools will be considered.

If space becomes available, Intradistrict Transfers for siblings of students enrolled at these schools for the 2018-2019 school year will be considered.

Los estudiantes que residen dentro de los límites del distrito pueden solicitar su inscripción en cualquier escuela del distrito. Se aceptarán solicitudes de transferencia dentro del distrito durante el período del 8 de enero 2018 al 1 de marzo 2018 para el próximo año escolar, o para estudiantes que entran al distrito después del 1 de marzo, dentro de los 5 días de la inscripción. Si desea volver a la escuela de la cual se le desplaza, o si desea asistir a otra escuela por cualquier razón, usted debe presentar una solicitud de transferencia dentro del distrito.

Los solicitantes que presenten una solicitud de transferencia dentro del distrito no más tarde de las 4:00 pm el 1 de marzo 2018 serán notificados el 1 de abril, 2018. SMART911 is a free service available for all residents and travelers into or through Brentwood and can provide key information to the dispatchers and first responders in case of an emergency. When a 911 call is made, the information provided in the SMART911 profile will be displayed to the dispatcher, allowing them to better inform first responders of services that may be needed. Families are encouraged to create their Safety Profile with SMART911 to have their information available to our 911 dispatchers and to receive emergency notifications.

Free/Reduced Meal Program

A message from our Food Service Department:

If you have not turned in a current 2017-2018 application for the Free/Reduced Meal Program for your child/children, please get it turned in.

If we do not receive a new application before last year’s eligibility expires, your child will be placed on full pay status beginning on Monday, September 11, 2017.

Your child will need to pay $1.75 for Breakfast and $3.00 Elem /$3.25 MS for lunch.  You will be responsible for all meals charged unless

your child’s school cafeteria is notified by you that you do not want your child to charge meals. Only one application per family is needed. 

Make sure you list all children and adults in the family on the application and the adult’s monthly income or a benefits case number.

Under the guidance of Pioneer's Counselor, Ezra Smith, a group of 5th graders did a phenomenal job with their Compassion skit. Mr. Smith wrote the script, choreographed the moves/steps, and action sequences. Moms, Dads, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Friends were all on hand to watch Pioneer's Kindergarteners perform "No Turkey For Perky."  The students did a great job, and the audience loved it!  What a great way to kick off the Holiday Season!
