    Pioneer Elementary School End-of-the-Year Drive Thru Celebrations

    Please join us to mark the end of this very unusual school year.  Find your grade level below for specific information.

     

    5th Grade:

    We’d like to invite ALL of our 5th grade students to participate in a drive-thru clap-out on Wednesday, June 2nd between 9:30 and 10:15am.  The Pioneer Staff will be out in their Hawaiian attire to wave and clap out our 5th grade students.  

     

    4th Grade

    In-person students will get to say good-bye to their teacher and classmates when they are in school on Thursday, June 3rd.  We’d like to invite 4th grade DISTANCE LEARNING students to drive thru in the main loop in front of the office on Thursday, June 3rd between 11:30am and 12noon.  Your teachers will be there to wave good-bye and hand out progress reports.  

     

    3rd Grade and 2nd Grade

    In-person students will get to say good-bye to their teacher and classmates when they are in school on Thursday, June 3rd.  We’d like to invite 3rd and 2nd grade DISTANCE LEARNING students to drive thru in the fire lane loop (enter through the Kindergarten loop) on Thursday, June 3rd between 11:30am and 12noon.  Your teachers will be there to wave good-bye and hand out progress reports.  

     

    1st Grade

    In-person students will get to say good-bye to their teacher and classmates when they are in school on Thursday, June 3.  We’d like to invite 1st Grade DISTANCE LEARNING students to drive thru in the fire lane loop (enter through the Kindergarten loop) on Wednesday, June 2nd between 1:15pm and 1:45pm.  Your teachers will be there to wave good-bye and hand out progress reports.  

     

    TK and Kindergarten

    In-person students will be at school and will be seated out with their teacher for early pickup starting at 9:00-9:30am, this will coincide with the Distance Learners drive thru.  Distance learning students will still attend their ZOOM meeting at 10:00am.

     

    TK/Kindergarten drive thru AND pick-up at 9:00-9:30am on June 3rd.

    ***TK/Kindergarten drive thru in kinder loop for Rodriguez, Jones, Friedman, Isherwood and Tomasini 

    ***TK/Kindergarten drive thru in main loop for Gusto, Bissell, and Tonkel TK/Kindergarten in-person families that are going to walk-up to retrieve their student, please note that the students will be in alternate locations for pickup on Thursday.

     

    Summer Work Packets

    Dear Families,

     

    We want to thank you for your support of your child's education and the flexibility that it took for all of us to get through this challenging school year.  Brentwood Union School District is providing grade level optional work packets for your child to complete during the summer in order to maintain skills.  You can access these documents by clicking here: Summer Work Packets.  You can also find the links to these summer work packets on the BUSD website on the “Departments” tab and select “Curriculum & Instruction”.  You can also access the C&I page by clicking here:  https://www.brentwood.k12.ca.us/c&i-home

     

      We also encourage families to:

    1. Enjoy the outdoors and explore local family friendly areas the promote exercise and learning about nature.

    2021-2022 INTRADISTRICT TRANSFERS

     

    TIMELINE

    April, 2021

    • Notifications on Intradistrict Transfers by April 1, 2021. TK and Kinder requests will be notified by April 15, 2021
    • Provide schools with list of their 21-22 students by April 15th - middle schools will hold off on Welcome letters until they receive these lists

    May, 2021

    • The Second Intradistrict Transfer Open Enrollment Period opens March 2, 2021, and closes on May 1, 2021, at 4:00 p.m.
    • Notifications on Intradistrict Transfers by June 1, 2021
    • Update school lists by June 7, 2021

    June, 2021

    • Interdistrict Transfer requests to be considered within the district beginning

                June 1, 2021

    • Approved Interdistrict Transfers will be placed at school sites by July 15, 2021
